About Us
Modern Age District / Repurpose Republic (TM)
We're a small, independent business located on the northern edge of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. I was born in NORDEAST and grew up here as a young child. My Grandparents lived directly across from Edison High School and Grandpa worked for the SOO Line Railroad (Now Canadian Pacific), as an Engineer his entire career. IRONICALLY our store is directly across from Shoreham Yards and it's been serving the neighborhood since 2017. We consist of a small community of friends and artisans with a love and passion for retro, vintage, and mid-century furniture. Our bent is #repurposedmcm furniture.
Unfortunately BUSTER is no longer here. He was our friendly and handsome concierge and store manager - RIP Buddy!
